For the groups to which you belong and to which you have access permissions, you will automatically be notified at the time of the original group-related announcement and whenever a comment is added to the threaded discussion for that announcement.

If you do not belong to a group, but would like to be notified when announcements are made or comments are added, you can sign up for notifications.

Note: You must have access permission to sign up for notifications for groups to which you do not belong (admin setting).

To receive notifications for particular group announcements, follow these steps:

1. Click Announcements from the main navigation.

   The Announcements window appears.

2. Click Notifications.

   Note: You can also access Notifications by clicking on My Options > Announcements > Notifications.

   Check the group notifications you would like to receive.

3. Click Save Settings.
